PyScripter is a Python IDE built in Python for Delphi(P4D) components and created with the ambition to become competitive in functionality with commercial Windows-based IDEs available for other languages. Being built in a compiled language is rather snappier than some of the other Python IDEs and provides an extensive blend of features that make it a productive Python development environment.

Just wanted to drop a note saying "Thank you." for providing the excellent Python Scripter free.
I'm one of the happy users.
Before finally chose Python Scripter, I had tried many free IDEs out there.
The new version 1.2 did have lots of improvements compared with 1.0.
Please keep up the good work.

You rock, pyscripter is extremely useful and much better than IDLE and every other python IDE i've found. I'ts possible that i just don't see where this option is available, but it would be very useful if the interactive interpreter could restart itself, like how IDLE has the restart shell option.

just a short feedback and plaudit for your PyScripter IDE.
I was looking for something more than a pure editor like SciTe (which is great but lacks things like class browsing and debugging) and less unwieldy and faster than Python IDEs like BoaContructor or Eric3 when I came across PyScripter. It was exactly what I was looking for. I think it is really filling a gap, not "just for fun" as the help file says.
Thanks for providing that fine piece of software for free!
